Chhattisgarh / Raipur : Bolero and truck collide, three including Naib Tehsildar died

In Chhattisgarh’s Raipur-Jabalpur National Highway road, a Bolero vehicle and a truck collided head-on this morning in village Pagwahi. In this accident, three people including the Naib Tehsildar of Bodla died. Chilfi police station reached the spot on information and sent the bodies for post-mortem after doing Panchnama. While one injured has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Bodla’s Naib Tehsildar Satish Kumar had gone to village Dhawaipani with his three companions. We were returning to Bolero in the morning from there, when at around 7.30 pm, a truck collided with a truck coming from the front near village Pagawahi located on the National Highway road. The collision was so severe that all the four occupants of the Bolero remained trapped in the vehicle. On information, the police reached the spot, after cutting them with a cutter, they took out the four after trying for about one and a half hours. In which three people including the Naib Tehsildar had died. At the same time, Chandan, a guard posted in the Excise Department, was injured. Who was admitted to Bodla’s hospital for treatment. The truck driver is absconding since the incident. Police said that the Naib Tehsildar along with two other dead have not been identified. However, in the police case, a crime has been registered against the truck driver and has been taken into the investigation.
