Don’t give priority to limited overs cricket over Tests: Bhuvneshwar

Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar says he does not prefer limited overs over Test cricket and is ready for the format he will be asked to play. Bhuvneshwar, who was appointed the team’s vice-captain for the limited overs series against Sri Lanka, said, “To be honest, for me, the priority is nothing to say, whether it is red ball or white. If I am selected for Test cricket, I will try to contribute to it. I don’t prefer limited overs cricket over Test cricket. I work normally to play in all formats.
If I get a chance to play in any format, I will try to contribute to it. I have prepared myself to play in all three formats.

The 31-year-old pacer has not played a Test since January 2018. He last played Test against South Africa.
Bhuvneshwar said, I am satisfied with my career. Injuries keep happening and ups and downs keep coming. I try to get back to the ground after recovering from the injury as soon as possible. Whatever contribution I can make, I want to contribute in future also.

Bhuvneshwar has played 117 ODIs and 48 T20 matches for India so far and he is the experienced bowler of the team.
