Arjun Kapoor wanted to work in the film Kapoor and Sons
Arjun Kapoor is considered one of the successful actors of Bollywood. He has shown his acting skills in many films. Now Arjun has made an important disclosure in an interview. He has said that he wanted to work in the 2016 film Kapoor & Sons. He also called the director of this film Shakun Batra to be included in the film. He wanted to play the character of Fawad Khan in this film.
In a conversation with Janice Sichera and Anirudh Guha in a clubhouse session, Arjun told that Shakun, the director of the film Kapoor & Sons, was facing difficulties in casting, when he called him. He was keen to act in the film. He said, many people will not know, but now I can tell about it. When the Kapoor & Sons project was on hold, I called Shakun.
He told that he wanted to play the role of gay novelist in the film, which was played by Fawad. He said that even today he teases Shakun for not casting him in the film. He told, I did not get the offer of the film. I had heard that there was a problem in the casting of the film. I knew Shakun so I told him that I would like to read the script. I think I will be able to play that role.
Fawad played the character of Rahul Kapoor in Kapoor & Sons. This character was played beautifully by Fawad, for which he was also praised. No one knows that Rahul is gay in the film. It is counted among the successful films of Bollywood. It featured Ratna Pathak Shah, Rajat Kapoor, Fawad, Rishi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. An attempt has been made to film the complicated relationships of the family in the film.
Talking about Arjun’s workfront, he will be seen in the film Ek Villain Returns in the coming days. Mohit Suri is directing this film. John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria will also be seen with her in this. Apart from this, Arjun will also make his presence felt in the comedy horror film Bhoot Police. The film, directed by Pawan Kriplani, also stars Saif Ali Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez.
