Punjab / Chandigarh : Three Congress workers going to attend Sidhu’s coronation died in a bus accident, 20 injured
Three Congressmen were killed in a bus accident in Punjab’s Moga district today. Apart from this, about 20 people have been injured in the accident. Police say that the accident happened due to the collision of two buses. One of these was a state transport bus, while the other was a private minibus. Moga district SSP Harmanbir Singh Gill said the injured have been rushed to the hospital. Congress leaders were in the mini-bus that was the victim of this accident, who were going to participate in the coronation ceremony of Navjot Singh Sidhu, who became the state president of Punjab Congress. The Chief Minister of the state, Captain Amarinder Singh has expressed grief over this accident. Amarinder Singh said, three Congressmen died in a bus accident in Moga district and many people were injured. Saddened by this incident. I have ordered Moga DC to immediately help in the treatment of those injured in the accident and submit the entire case report to the state government.
Meanwhile, Navjot Singh Sidhu, who became the new Congress President of the state, has reached Chandigarh. He will hold the post of President at Punjab Congress Bhawan. A big event has been organized by Congress on this occasion. Not only this, Sidhu himself is presenting this event as a show of strength.
