Biden has committed to supporting Afghan security forces: Ghani
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani said that US President Joe Biden has pledged to support Afghan security forces.
Ghani said that the US President has made this commitment to him during a phone conversation.
He tweeted, “This evening, I spoke to President Biden on the phone. We discussed the relationship between the two countries. President Biden assured me that the support of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) would continue. We are confident that they will protect Afghanistan. Ghani said that during this time Mr. Biden also reiterated his continued commitment to the diplomatic and economic partnership with Afghanistan.
