Olympics (Archery): Atanu reaches round of 16

India’s leading male archer Atanu Das has reached the quarterfinals of the men’s individual event at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics here. Atanu defeated Jinyek Oh of South Korea 6-5 after a tiebreaker in his round of 16 match at Yumenoshima Final Field.
Earlier, Atanu had defeated Yu Cheng Deng of Taiwan 6-4 in the round of 32.
This match was also very exciting. At one point both the players were tied at 4-4 but in the final set Atanu won with 28 points against 26.
