Teacher’s Day celebrated in Raika Auditorium

On Teachers’ Day, under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Annavi Dineshkumar, the honor ceremony of the principals/teachers working in the secondary schools of the district was completed at the Government Inter College. Minister of State Manohar Lal, Sadar MLA Ram Ratan Kushwaha, District Panchayat President Kailash Niranjan and Divisional Commissioner Ajay Shankar Pandey had a dignified presence in the program. The program started with garlanding on the picture of Maa Saraswati, lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana by the guests on stage. Also, welcoming the guests on stage, the students of Government Girls Inter College presented a welcome song. DIOS informed that Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of India, scholar, philosopher and Bharat Ratna awardee, was born on 5 September 1888 in Tirumani, Tamil Nadu. In his memory, this date is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. He said that every teacher should fulfill his responsibilities as a good teacher. Only then the development of the children of our country is possible. He told that the teaching-learning work was interrupted during the Kovid epidemic, but still the teachers have done online teaching work. Many schemes are being run by the government to strengthen the education work. The District Panchayat President said that the role of the Guru is important in the advancement of education. Therefore, every teacher should seriously take up teaching work in his school. The Superintendent of Police said that Teacher’s Day reminds us that behind every achievement, there is a contribution of a teacher. He said that the contact between teachers and students has changed in Corona, but the present era is the era of digitization, in which teachers and students are doing the work of teaching through online medium. The District Magistrate said that every year on the day of Teachers’ Day, there is an opportunity to remember the cooperation of teachers. During my student days my teacher’s name was Kamala Bai, who gave a new direction to my life, similarly the education given by all my teachers has taken me to this place today. The Minister of State said that in the life of every person his first guru is his parents and his first school is his home. Education and teacher have special importance in our life. Guru’s contribution plays an important role in the life of every person. Therefore the respect of Guru is the greatest honor in the world. Guru’s inspiration brings developmental change in the life of a person. The Divisional Commissioner said that warm wishes to the teachers of the district on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. Teacher’s Day is celebrated in honor of the first Vice President of the country. In our country, the place of Guru has been kept at par with God. Along with giving bookish knowledge to the children, teachers should also do the work of imparting social knowledge. The knowledge given away from studies shows an impact in the life of the student. He said that the meaning of right is to remove the suffering of others, none of our actions should harm others. We should have the ability to accept our shortcomings. Today, the teachers who received the honor on this occasion should maintain this honor, it is your important responsibility. After this, the principals/teachers who did excellent work working in secondary schools were felicitated by the presiding guests.
