Uttarakhand / Vikasnagar : In Pachhwadun, the Kisan Sabha demonstrated and burnt the effigy of the government
There is also a boil among the farmers of Pachhwadun over the incident of Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh. Here on Monday, various organizations associated with farmers demonstrated against the Uttar Pradesh and central government and burnt effigies. Agitated by the incident, the farmers have demanded to file a murder case against the accused.
District Kisan Sabha took out a rally in Sahaspur market and registered its strong protest against the incident of Lakhimpur Kheri. Kisan Sabha’s provincial treasurer Shiv Prasad Deoli alleged that the farmers were killed on the behest of the Union Minister of State for Home. He said that the BJP government has hatched a conspiracy to terrorize the peaceful agitating farmers. He said that the Union Minister of State for Home and many other close people including his son are involved in the murder. The farmers have demanded the dismissal of the Union Minister of State for Home and the arrest of those involved in the murder. The protesting farmers expressed their anger by burning the effigies of the Center and the UP government. District General Secretary of Kisan Sabha Kamaruddin, Vice President Sundar Thapa, Rajendra Purohit, Gayur, Ashok Tomar, SS Rawat, Pramod Sharma, Asgari, Sanjay etc. were involved in the protest.
