District Congress Committee’s newly appointed District President Himanshu Saini said that any frontal organization of Congress will apprise the district committee before holding any dharna. Preference will be given to women office bearers in the district committee. Along with this, the new district committee will be announced in a week.

Congress District President Himanshu Saini was talking to reporters at Sai Kripa Lodge on Wednesday. He said that the present District Congress Committee has been dissolved with immediate effect. The new committee will be announced in a week. The district presidents of all the frontal organizations of the Congress are invited members of the district committee. Therefore, he will definitely inform the district committee before performing any kind of dharna regarding the public problem. Complying with the 40 percent women’s reservation announced by the party’s national general secretary Priyanka Badra, women will also be given a place in the district committee. Laxmikant Tripathi, Devendra Mohan Choubey, Brijesh Kumar Badal, Balji Pandey, Deepak Chakraborty, Jageshwar Babu, Sunil Shukla, Bhishma Dubey, Salim Ahmed, Rajaram Dixit etc. were present in the press conference.
