Shashank Khaitan to direct Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor’s debut film
Fans are very excited about the debut of children of Bollywood actors in the film world. Some time ago information came out that actor Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor is going to debut in Bollywood with Karan Johar’s film. Producer Karan himself announced Shanaya’s debut film. Now information is coming out that Shanaya’s film will be directed by popular director Shashank Khaitan.
According to the report, the responsibility of directing Shanaya’s debut film will be on Shashank’s shoulder. Gurfateh Singh Pirzada and Lakshya Lalwani will also be seen in this film along with Shanaya. Karan is also going to launch actor Lakshya in this film along with Shanaya. The shooting of the film was to begin in July. However, the film’s project has been delayed due to the second wave of coronavirus.
If reports are to be believed, Shanaya, Gurfateh and Lakshya have attended several acting workshops in the last seven months. These three actors will start shooting for the film in Mumbai in December this year. It is a romantic comedy drama film, directed by Paras Chakraborty. Shashank was about to join this film as a producer. However, now Shashank has been given the responsibility of directing the film.
The story of the film will be based on an urban love triangle. Information about its release date will be given after the shooting of the film starts. Earlier there were reports that Shanaya will be launched with Student of the Year 3. This film will be made for the OTT platform Netflix. According to sources, Shanaya’s mother Maheep Kapoor had told Karan that her daughter’s debut should coincide with the theatrical release.
Before making her debut in films, Shanaya worked in the role of assistant director of Janhvi Kapoor’s film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Earlier, Shanaya’s special appearance was seen in Maheep’s Netflix series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. Shanaya’s father Sanjay had said that his daughter Shanaya is all set to debut in Bollywood films, only she is looking for a good project.
