The election was won in the name of Gujarat model, now Gujarat became the model of Drugs
Drugs are spreading in this country and now Gujarat is becoming the capital of drugs. Drugs worth Rs 24,800 crore seized in the last five months. Gujarat Congress has demanded that whoever is connected to this network should be traced.
Heroin worth 350 crores has been caught in Dwarka on Wednesday. Recently, heroin worth 20,000 crores was caught in Mundra port. On September 19, 35 kg of heroin was recovered from Porbandar, which is said to be worth 150 crores. The accused arrested in this case is Ibrahim Irani. He has told the police that in the last one and a half year, more than one thousand kilos of heroin has entered the country. Pakistani was caught with heroin worth 218 crores in 2019. Is Gujarat becoming the drugs capital? Drugs worth thousands of crores, that too from Pakistan and Afghanistan.
In the last 55 days, 5,756 kg of drugs have been seized in the state. The Chief Minister of Gujarat has praised the police for recovering such a huge quantity of drugs. The Minister of State for Home has told the media that drugs worth Rs 245 crore have been caught in 55 days. 90 people have been arrested in the last two months. According to the National Crime Branch report of 2020, 308 cases related to drugs have been registered in Gujarat even in the middle of the epidemic. A year before that, 289 cases were registered.
When demonetisation took place in 2016, the troubled public wanted to know why demonetisation happened? Every day the government used to lengthen the list of its purpose that it was done for these works and it ended with demonetisation. Sometimes black money was being eradicated by demonetisation and sometimes terrorism. Demonetisation is the only solution to every problem. In those days, Prime Minister Modi had said that drug mafia would end with demonetisation, but in Gujarat itself, drugs worth Rs 24,800 crore were caught in five months. Where did the drug mafia end? Is it that there is going to be a need to do demonetisation again?
Despite demonetization, drugs are growing very fast. In drugs matters, always Bollywood and Mumbai are swayed from all sides and if drugs are found elsewhere then that matter is suppressed. The country is being ruined by the youth of India who are addicted to drugs. From all this, the question arises on the government that why action is not being taken against them?
