Riya Chakraborty had said in an appeal to defreeze her bank account that she is an actor and model by profession and NCB has frozen her bank accounts. Because of which a great injustice is being done to them. In his petition, he said that the bank account is needed for paying salary to his employees, fulfilling his tax responsibilities and making GST payments. The actress says that she also needs the amount lying in the bank account to earn her living, not only that her brother is also dependent on her.
At the same time, NCB had opposed this petition of the actress saying that the financial investigation in the case is still going on. If the account is defrosted, there may be hurdles in the investigation. At the same time, while delivering the verdict on this matter, the court has defrosted Riya’s account. Along with this, one of his MacBook Pro, Apple laptop and Apple iPhone have also been returned.
