At the same time, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has tweeted about this incident. He said- This incident is heart-wrenching. Government of India should answer on this. What exactly is the Home Ministry doing when neither civilians nor security personnel are safe on our own land?

‘Home Minister Amit Shah should be sacked’
Here, AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi has also expressed condolences to the families of the deceased by tweeting. At the same time, he said that ‘Home Minister Amit Shah should be sacked. All his peace agreements with the fringe groups were only meant to be deceiving. In November, 7 officers were killed by insurgents in Manipur. There is no peace in the Northeast, only violence.
Owaisi further said that in the matter of talks with NSCN IM, all the advisors of Shah have failed and now there will be no chance for him to succeed. The lives of 9 army personnel in Kashmir were not avenged by any surgical strike, but cricket was played in Dubai soon after.
He said that Shah’s statement of abrogation of Article 370 and taking back Aksai Chin is now just a jumla. Shah should not resign. He should be sacked straight away. I will give an adjournment motion for this in Lok Sabha tomorrow.
‘Inspect the incident thoroughly’
Apart from this, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has also made a tweet. He wrote- ‘The news of Nagaland is worrying. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. We must ensure a thorough investigation into the incident and ensure that all the victims get justice!’
