‘India is in misery… but will not stop, will not stop’, PM said – wherever CDS is, we will see it grow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a very emotional manner in Balrampur, UP that India is in grief. Referring to the death of CDS General Bipin Rawat and his wife, besides 11 other brave soldiers, who were killed in the helicopter crash of December 8, he said that the country will move forward even after suffering this pain. He said that wherever General Bipin Rawat is, he will be a witness to the progress of the country. The Prime Minister said that the government and the people of the country will work harder and make India strong and prosperous.

The work of increasing the security of the borders of the country, the work of strengthening the border infrastructure, the campaign to make the country’s armies self-reliant, the campaign to strengthen the coordination between the three armies, many such works will continue to progress rapidly. He said, ‘We Indians will work harder together, to face every challenge sitting within the country and outside the country. Will make India more powerful and prosperous.

Paying homage from the land of heroes: Modi

The Prime Minister paid tribute to the bravehearts who laid down their lives in the accident. He said, ‘From this land of nation builders and nation defenders, today I am also paying tribute to all the brave warriors of the country who died in a helicopter crash on 8th December. The passing of India’s first Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat ji is a great loss for every Indian, for every patriot. The whole country has been a witness to the hard work that General Bipin Rawat ji was doing to make the country’s forces self-reliant.

PM told the power of soldiers

PM Modi said that a soldier does not remain a soldier till he is in the army, he remains a soldier for life. His whole life is like a warrior. He is dedicated every moment for the honor and glory of the country. He quoted a verse from the Gita and said, ‘It is said in the Gita- नैनं छिन्दन्ति शस्त्राणि नैनं दहति पावकः – Neither weapons can break it, nor fire can burn it.’

Group Captain’s prayer for life

The Prime Minister wished the recovery of the only brave Group Captain Varun Singh who survived the accident. Modi said, ‘Doctors are working hard to save the life of Group Captain Varun Singh ji, a son of UP, a resident of Deoria. I pray to Maa Pateshwari to save her life. The nation is with the family of Varun Singh ji today, with the families of the heroes we have lost.

The helicopter accident that left the country in shock

It should be noted that on December 8, the Mi17Y5 helicopter of the Air Force became a victim of an accident in the Nilgiri forests in Tamil Nadu. A total of 14 people including the country’s first Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat were on board the helicopter. In this, except Group Captain Varun Singh, the remaining 13 people died. The last rites of the CDS and his wife were performed on Saturday. Both his daughters lit the pyre. His ashes were immersed in Haridwar today.
