Uttar Pradesh / Prayagraj : Severe cold became fatal, three including village head and student died

In Prayagraj and adjoining districts, severe cold is proving to be fatal for the last three days. In neighboring district Kaushambi, a person died after his health deteriorated due to cold, while in Pratapgarh also a village headman and a girl student died due to cold. It was sunny on Wednesday and the minimum temperature also went up to nine degrees from Tuesday’s four degrees but the melting continued, forcing people to resort to bonfires and warm clothes to protect themselves from the cold. Mountains melt in Sangamnagari, the coldest of the season in Prayagraj, the minimum temperature is four degrees.
The shivering left in the night and then the life passed away
Talking about death due to cold, Shyamlal Gautam, 62 son of Gram Sabha Jameti of Kunda Kotwali area in Pratapgarh, suddenly his health deteriorated on Tuesday night. Due to the cold, he had to go to the toilet again and again. In the morning, relatives were preparing to take him to the doctor for treatment that suddenly his breathing stopped. On hearing the news of death, the relatives started crying. The village head has two sons. Both do private jobs outside. The relatives cremated the dead body of the village head.
Class three girl’s cold took her life
In the second incident, 11-year-old daughter of Rakesh Yadav, resident of Purva village of Lokiya Pur Choba under Sangramgarh police station area, Prince Yadav was a student of class three in the village school. On Tuesday night, when he complained of cold, the family members took him to the local doctor for treatment. From where his condition deteriorated, his family members took him to CHC Kunda. Where he was declared brought dead by the doctors. On hearing the news of death, the relatives started crying. After which the family members went home with the body of the girl student. On Tuesday afternoon, in Pipri area of Kaushambi, a person also died after catching cold.
