3.33 lakh new cases of corona in a day in India, number of active patients reached about 22 lakh

In the last 24 hours, a total of 525 people have also died due to COVID across the country. So far, a total of 4 lakh 89 thousand 409 people have died due to Kovid in the country. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, the total number of active cases across the country has increased to 21,87,205. Active cases have become 5.57 percent of the total infection. At present, the recovery rate in the country has come down to 93.18 percent.

However, in the last 24 hours, a total of 2 lakh 59 thousand 168 patients have been cured across the country, which is less than the number of new patients. So far, a total of 3 crore, 65 lakh, 60 thousand, 650 people have defeated this epidemic across the country.

The daily positivity rate in the country has increased to a record 17.78 percent now. The weekly positivity rate has also increased to 16.87%. So far (till January 22), a total of 71.55 crore samples have been tested in the country. Within the last 24 hours, 18,75,533 samples have been tested.
