Uttar Pradesh / Prayagraj : Girl raped in Magh fair, case registered against accused

In the Magh fair, a young man raped a girl who came to sell garlands, flowers and prasad with the family. He ran away when the girl raised an alarm. The mother has filed a case against the accused in the police station. Police has started investigating the matter.

A woman living in a village under the Sarayinayat police station area does the work of selling prasad and garland flowers in the Magh Mela. In the Tahrir given in the police station, he said that his tent has been set up on Tulsi Marg. where his family also lives.

On Wednesday afternoon she went to sell prasad and her sister-in-law’s son also went to visit the fair. Meanwhile, getting the opportunity, Ramesh Bharti went to his tent and raped his eight-year-old girl who was sleeping inside.
He ran away when the girl raised an alarm. When she reached the tent after getting information, the girl informed about the incident. The police have registered a case against the accused under various sections including rape and POCSO.
