After UP, strictness on religious events in Uttarakhand, guidelines made after the instructions of CM Dhami

In many parts of the country, the situation of conflict was seen due to religious ceremonies last week. In Bhagwanpur of Roorkee in Uttarakhand, there was a ruckus during the procession. There are also reports of tensions between communities constantly coming to the government. Due to this, in order that religious events do not become a cause of conflict, the Home Department has asked the police to keep a strict vigil on such gatherings.
There is a provision to take permission from the administration for religious processions, ceremonies outside the already fixed religious premises in the state. In this, the details of the venue, route, number of participants are fixed. On Tuesday, the Home Department has given new guidelines to all the districts on nine points.
Earlier, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while talking to reporters, clearly said that there is no place for riots, riots and rioters in Uttarakhand. He said that a verification drive would also be launched to maintain peace in the state. Referring to the Roorkee incident, he said that after conducting a fair investigation, he has directed strictest action against the culprits.
