Uttarakhand / Rishikesh : Challan of five youths taking a bath in the danger zone of Ganga

Incidents of drowning in the pilgrimage city of Rishikesh are not being curbed. In this episode, police-administration campaigns are being run. At the same time, there was an intensive checking campaign of Munikireti Police on the dangerous Ganga Ghat and the banks for bathing. During this, under the Maryada Mission Chardham Yatra, police checking five people were caught taking a bath on sensitive ghats and beaches. Despite refusing, the police challaned everyone for not agreeing. According to Police Station Ritesh Shah, the police is running a checking campaign to stop the incidents of drowning in the Ganges through water police and flood company. In view of the Maryada Mission Chardham Yatra, in this campaign, five people were found bathing in the Ganges at sensitive places on Thursday. Despite his refusal, he did not stop, due to which he was challaned under the Police Act.
