Uttarakhand / Pauri : Vehicle returning from procession crashed, six killed and eight injured, CM expressed grief

A vehicle (Max) returning from the procession has crashed in Paithani police station area of Pauri district. In which five people died on the spot, while one died in the hospital. Two injured are being treated at CHC Paithani and six injured at District Hospital Pauri.
On the accident, Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh (Secretary) has expressed deep sorrow towards the deceased persons. Wishing peace to the departed souls, he expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families. Governor has wished speedy recovery of those injured in the accident. At the same time, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also expressed deep grief over the accident. He wished peace to the departed souls and speedy recovery of the injured. The Chief Minister directed the officials for proper treatment of the injured.
Apart from this, local MLA and State Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat expressed his condolences while expressing grief. At the same time, DM Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande, SSP Yashwant Singh Chauhan reached the District Hospital Pauri to know the condition of the injured.
On Monday, a procession from Dobri village of Paithani police station had gone to Siloli village. Late in the evening the procession was returning to Dobri after farewell. But in the meantime, a Max full of baraatis fell uncontrollably into a deep gorge near Sayoli Malli on the Malli-Tilla motorway. On the information of the incident, the police team reached the spot and launched a rescue operation with the local people. Two daughters of the same family of Jakh village have died in the accident.
Police Station Paithani Virendra Ramola said that in the Max accident full of weddings, the driver Ankit (25) son Prakash Lal resident Sayoli Talli, Hayat Singh son Pratap Singh Siloli, Mehrwan Singh son Kedar Singh Siloli, Jankh resident Kalam’s elder daughter Ambika (18) and Five-year-old Drishti died on the spot. SHO Ramola said that with the help of 108 services, two injured were admitted to CHC Paithani and seven to CHC Pabou. Monica succumbed to her injuries during treatment at CHC Pabou. From here six injured were referred to the district hospital Pauri. There is a wave of mourning in the area after the accident. The Education and Health Minister of the state has given directions to the District Magistrate regarding the treatment of the injured.

Medical superintendent of the district hospital, Dr. Gaurav Ratudi told that the treatment of Virendra, Kanchan, Diya, Rahul, Priya, Kiran is going on. SHO Paithani Ramola told that the treatment of injured Ravindra son Roshan Singh village Isoti Ekeshwar block, Mohan Singh son Hayat Singh Siloli is going on in CHC Paithani.
14 people in the vehicle
The accident vehicle was running overloaded with baraatis. SHO Virendra Ramola told that there were 14 baratis in Max vehicle. He said that the cause of the accident is being investigated.
Motorway is inviting accidents
District Panchayat member Tila Ganesh Negi said that the Sayoli Malli-Tila motor road is lying in a dilapidated condition. In this regard, several oral and written complaints were given to the officials of LNV. He demanded the speedy repair of the motorway.
