should have been at the national level
On a question, the Chief Minister said that we met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and requested that there should be a caste census at the national level. But, after some time it happened that at the national level it would not happen. It has to be done at the state level. This has to be done on your behalf at the state level. In between, there has been a slight delay in the all-party meeting regarding the Legislative Council elections etc. On a question, he said that there was no opposition to the calculation of caste. It was only said that this is not happening at the national level. But, all the states are considering getting it done gradually. If this is done in all the states, then this figure will come automatically at the national level.
