Indian delegation will hold discussions with Taliban in Kabul
Afghanistan has been occupied by the Taliban in August last year, after which India has been providing humanitarian aid to the Afghan people. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, so far 20 thousand metric tonnes of wheat, 13 tonnes of medicines, 5 lakh corona vaccines and some winter clothes have been given by India. In a press release, the Ministry of External Affairs said that a team led by the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs is on a visit to Kabul to oversee the humanitarian assistance being carried out by India in Afghanistan. During this visit, the team will meet senior members of the Taliban and discuss humanitarian assistance being provided by India to the people of Afghanistan. The Ministry of External Affairs has said that India and the Afghan people have historical and civilizational ties, which have been guiding our approach for a long time.

India gave one million doses of country-made covaxin to Iran
The Ministry of External Affairs has issued a press release stating that in continuation of its developmental partnership with the Afghan brothers, India has given one million doses of Indian-made Covaxin to Afghan refugees in Iran. Along with this, India has also helped UNICEF by sending about 60 million doses of polio vaccine and 2 tonnes of essential medicines.
