Himachal Pradesh / Mandi : Big accident, death of mother and son, two injured including daughter, family was returning from marriage ceremony

A major road accident has occurred in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. The mother and son died in the accident, while the daughter and another were injured. The police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the hospital. Police is investigating by taking the bodies in custody.

According to the information, the mother and son died after a jeep crashed on the Taryambali-Katindi road in Drang in Mandi district. While the other girl of the neighborhood including the daughter has been seriously injured. Those who have been admitted to the Zonal Hospital Mandi.

The incident happened late in the night around one o’clock. The family of Kaku, a resident of Kulandar village, was returning home from a wedding ceremony in Nagrota. The driver got down as soon as the jeep was parked near the house. The jeep suddenly backtracked and fell into a gorge about three hundred meters deep.

In the incident, the wife and younger son of the jeep driver Kaku died on the spot. While the daughter and another girl were seriously injured. Those who were taken to the Zonal Hospital Mandi in the night itself. Where both are undergoing treatment.

On the other hand, the police registered a case of the incident and started investigation. Police station in-charge Ashok Kumar said that the dead bodies of mother and son will be handed over to the relatives after post-mortem. What has been the reason for the incident is being investigated.
