Engineer Shailendra, BJP MLA from Bihpur, has been taken hostage by the villagers. Villagers have taken the MLA hostage for the demand of anti-erosion work. The MLAs had reached Singhkund village of Lokmanpur Panchayat in Bhagalpur district on Sunday to hold a meeting under the service, good governance and poor welfare program on the completion of eight years of the Narendra Modi government. Then the villagers surrounded the MLA from all sides and took him hostage. During this, the villagers also snatched his mobile.

Villagers say that there is a severe erosion of Kosi river near Simhakund village. In such a situation, till the anti-erosion work is not started in the village, BJP MLA Shailendra will not be allowed to go out of the village. Villagers are sitting around the MLA. During this, the villagers have also snatched the MLA’s mobile. MLA Engineer Shailendra himself has given this information. He has given this information through social media.

If anti-erosion work is not done then many houses will merge in Kosi river

It is to be known that there is severe erosion of Kosi river near Simhakund village. The villagers of the village have been demanding anti-erosion work for a long time, but till now the erosion has not been stopped by the administration. If the administration does not take initiative on this, then the houses of many people will merge in the river. At present, no positive action has been taken by the department in this regard. The villagers are angry about this and due to non-starting of anti-erosion work, the angry villagers have taken the BJP MLA hostage.
