Maharashtra: Wife harassed husbands cut 108 rounds by worshiping Peepal in Aurangabad, said – wives are our devil’s skin, God do something like this, they should not be brought up in the next birth
An interesting case came to light here in Maharashtra when a group of men harassed by their wives protested, demanding a law against the “injustice” being meted out to them at home and around a Peepal tree with the help of a clock. While doing 108 rounds opposite, he prayed that he should not get such a life partner again.
Some men unhappy with their wives had set up a ‘wife victim’ ashram in Aurangabad a few years ago to voice their grievances. He performed here on Monday. Bharat Phulare, the founder of the ashram, said on the occasion of ‘Vat Purnima’ that women worship the banana tree and pray for a happy married life and a husband for seven births.
He said, “So a day before this, we prayed to never get such a life partner again while worshiping the Peepal tree here. There are many laws for the empowerment of women but they are being misused. That’s why we performed this.”
