Young folk singer Gunjan Dangwal dies in road accident, accident happened after car collided with divider

Young folk singer and musician Gunjan Dangwal (26) died in a road accident. BTech from Electrical, Gunjan had a lot of interest in the field of singing and music, due to which Gunjan earned a reputation in singing and music in a short time. People associated with folk music, social concerns have expressed deep grief on his sudden demise.

Gunjan Dangwal, son of teacher Kailash Dangwal, Khaseti of Bhilangana block and currently resident of Nai Tehri, died in a road accident in Panchkula, Chandigarh on Saturday morning. Gunjan was going to Chandigarh to meet a friend. He himself was going to Chandigarh alone by driving the car. On the way, his car collided with the divider and he died on the spot.

Gunjan had earned a name in the field of music in a very short time. His first album Nandu Mama Ki Syali became quite popular. Gradually, Gunjan started working on making music and video albums along with songs. These days his Chaitvalya music of Geeta Chaita has also created a buzz in the market. Musician by profession, Gunjan also did B.Tech in Electrical from GB Pant Engineering College, Ghurdauri. Along with this, he also had a degree in music master.

On Gunjan’s death, MLA Kishor Upadhyay, Ghansali MLA Shakti Lal Shah, Pratapnagar MLA Vikram Singh Negi, District President Sona Sajwan, Mahipal Negi, Singer Padam Gusain, Ravi Gusain, Bina Bora, Suryapal Srivan, Umesh Charan Gusain, Pradeep Ramola, Dr. Narendra Dangwal, Vijay Gunsola, Rakesh Rana, Dr. Veer Singh Rawat, DS Bhandari, Deepak Raturi etc. have expressed deep sorrow.
