Uttarakhand: Government 2.0 on the goal of smart governance, the first major surgery in the bureaucracy – 24 IAS, 22 PCS and 4 Secretariat service officers in lieu of charge
Under the mission to make Uttarakhand the number 1 state in the country by 2025, CM Dhami has done major surgery in the bureaucracy. As part of the mission to streamline the bureaucracy, the charge of 24 IAS, 22 PCS and four Secretariat Service cadre officers have been reshuffled.
Under the mission of Smart Governance, the Rural Development Department has been removed from Secretary Sachin Kurve and given the new responsibility of Secretary Tourism and Chief Executive Officer Tourism Development Council.
At the same time, the responsibility of Secretary Tourism and CEO has been removed from Secretary Dilip Jawalkar and he has been given the important responsibility of Secretary Finance.
On the other hand, the responsibility of Director Milk Development has been removed from the responsibilities of Secretary Dr. BVRC Purushottam and the new responsibility of Secretary Rural Development has been given, while the responsibility of Urban Development Department has been withdrawn from Vinod Kumar Suman.
At the same time, the responsibility of Chief Executive Officer Smart City has been withdrawn from Doon DM R Rajesh Kumar, the responsibility of MD State Industrial Development Corporation and Additional Secretary Language has been withdrawn from Senior IAS Ranveer Singh Chauhan. Yugal Kishore Pant has been given the additional responsibility of Managing Director Terai Seed Development Corporation. IAS Sonika has been given the responsibility of Chief Executive Officer Smart City. Taking back the responsibility of District Magistrate Tehri from Eva Ashish Srivastava, he has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary in the Government, Director of Drinking Water Mission. Nitin Bhadauria has been given the responsibility of his Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Milk, while the responsibility of Additional Secretary Drinking Water Panchayati Raj has been withdrawn from him. Apart from this, the responsibility of Commissioner Excise has also been withdrawn from Nitin Bhadauria.
