Foreign donations, 13 fake accounts, fake affidavits… Imran Khan caught in trouble, PAK Election Commission surrounded

The troubles of Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, are increasing. In fact, the Election Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday ruled that it has been found that Imran Khan’s party PTI has received restricted funding.

The Election Commission in its decision said that it has been found that the former ruling party PTI has received 34 foreign donations. These donations were taken from America, Australia and UAE. Not only this, PTI also took funds from American industrialist. So much so.  No, funds were received from Dubai-based Pakistani industrialist Arif Naqvi and hid the information of 13 accounts.

Big things of EC’s decision

▪️PTI got money from banned sources
▪️PTI received funds from 34 foreign nationals
▪️PTI gave information about 8 accounts, while 13 accounts were hidden.
The Election Commission has issued a notice to Imran’s party.  It has been asked why their funds should not be confiscated.
Imran Khan filed wrong nomination form

The Election Commission said in its decision that some unknown accounts have also come to the fore.  These accounts are in violation of the Constitution.  Not only this, it has also been found that PTI Chief Imran Khan had filed a wrong nomination form.  The Election Commission has also issued a show cause notice to PTI in this matter.

Initially, this case was taken as a ‘foreign funding’ case. But later the Election Commission accepted the recommendation of PTI and took it as a ‘restricted donation’.
