Uttar Pradesh : Akhilesh’s mistake or BJP’s walkover? Shivpal-Rajbhar has suppressed the weak vein of SP!

Akhilesh Yadav, who became ‘Sultan’ from Tipu in the politics of Uttar Pradesh, is continuously losing his father’s political legacy. Akhilesh Yadav has been subjected to criticism due to the results that have come in the share of SP in the last few elections. Not only the opposition, allies and even members of the Mulayam clan are seen standing against him. SP is passing through the toughest phase of its political history. Despite this, Akhilesh Yadav has been making political mistakes one after the other, due to which questions are also being raised on his leadership.

Kirti’s paper rejected, questions raised on SP

Questions have also been raised on the political seriousness of the party due to the rejection of the nomination of SP candidate Kirti Kol in the Legislative Council by-election. This form has been rejected when Akhilesh Yadav and 10 of his MLAs have signed as Kirti’s proposer. The minimum age limit for Vidhan Parishad is 30 years while Kirti Kaul is 28 years old. As a result, the paper was rejected. However, from state president Naresh Uttam Patel to three-time MLA Manoj Pandey were present during the nomination. Even after this, no one saw the age of Kirti Kol recorded on the nomination paper. Do Akhilesh’s strategists not know that what is the age required for MLC elections?

How SP’s tribal bet turned upside down

The SPs had tried to play a new card on the lines of the presidential election, describing Kirti Kol as the leader of the tribal community. The SP hoped that through the coal fraternity, the allegations of being anti-Dalit, anti-tribal in the presidential election could be quashed, but a small mistake of the party leaders failed all the hopes. The bet of playing the tribal card backfired for the SP. With this, questions are being raised on the understanding of the election strategists of Akhilesh and BJP has now got a chance to house the SP. SP may now name it a blunder and talk about investigation-confusion, but the rejection of the form has definitely raised serious questions on the working style of the SP.

UP’s Minister of State for Scheduled Castes and Tribes Welfare Sanjeev Gond questioned the intention of Akhilesh Yadav and said that the pretense of giving representation to the Scheduled Tribes by the SP has been exposed. At the same time, Subhaspa Chief Om Prakash Rajbhar said that Akhilesh Yadav does not take any election seriously. His political immaturity has also come to the fore in the MLC elections. Similarly, in the MLC elections of the civic area, it was seen that the papers of the SP candidates were rejected and some candidates could not reach the nomination. At the same time, during Mulayam Singh’s era, such incidents never happened in SP, whereas in Akhilesh’s new SP, there is some political lapse every day.

Shivpal’s question on Ramgopal’s letter

SP General Secretary Prof. Ram Gopal Yadav had met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath alone on Monday evening. During this, he has demanded CM Yogi to stop the harassment of his relative, former MLA Rameshwar Yadav and his family members. In the letter, he has demanded that the investigation of the entire matter should be done by CBI and SIT. Questions are to be raised by Ramgopal meeting the CM in private and only talking about Rameshwar Yadav, because the cases against other SP leaders were not mentioned many times.

SP MLA Shivpal Singh Yadav has questioned the timing of Ram Gopal Yadav’s fight for justice. He made public the letter given by Ram Gopal Yadav to CM Yogi Adityanath, raising questions as to why justice was not sought for other party workers including Azam Khan, Shahzil Islam and Nahid Hasan. Why is this fight for justice incomplete? Shivpal has thus taunted the SP’s fight for justice. However, it is also true that Azam Khan’s case was not taken up the way the SP has reached the CM’s rate regarding Rameshwar Yadav’s case. In such a situation, Rajbhar said that the BJP government has not caught any weak vein of Ram Gopal Yadav.

OP Rajbhar became tension for Akhilesh

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav broke the alliance with SubhaSP President Om Prakash Rajbhar and pitted another opponent against him. Congress and BSP chief Mayawati are already aggressive on Akhilesh. In such a situation, another political enemy has emerged in the form of Rajbhar. Ever since Rajbhar broke away from the SP, he has openly opened a front about Akhilesh Yadav. Akhilesh is projecting as anti-Dalit and backward backward. The kind of sharp and outspoken leader Om Prakash Rajbhar is, there is no one in the SP to answer him in that tone. In such a situation, Rajbhar is creating a tension everyday.

Om Prakash Rajbhar asked Akhilesh Yadav on meeting Ram Gopal Yadav’s Chief Minister and said, “Tell me, the soul of BJP has come out of Om Prakash Rajbhar and has entered Prof. Ramgopal Yadav? From which tantrik Akhilesh will now get Ramgopal to be exonerated.  Om Prakash has said that when CM Yogi meets Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav, the people of SP do not react.  Comment till the evening Not only this, the leader of the great party, Keshav Dev Maurya has also raised questions.

SP’s deepening political crisis

In the politics of Uttar Pradesh, SP has emerged as the main opposition party with 111 MLAs increasing from 47 seats.  In the 2022 elections, the anti-BJP vote unitedly went in favor of Akhilesh Yadav, but the way the SP is losing one ally after another.  After the election, three allies of SP have left together.  At the same time, being the main opposition party, the kind of expectations that were being expected from the SP, the party could not aggressively raise it.

Even on issues related to public sentiments, the SP has neither taken to the road nor started any movement against the Yogi-Modi government.  As a result of this, the Muslim vote bank of SP has slipped in Azamgarh and there is also a feeling of restlessness among the anti-incumbency votes.  In this way, political challenges are increasing for Akhilesh Yadav on the political pitch of the state and if such working style continues, then the political path of 2024 can prove to be very difficult for SP?
