Train forgot its way in Bihar, had to go somewhere else to reach Samastipur, 2 officers suspended

Often strange and poor cases keep coming to the fore in Bihar. Now everyone is surprised by one act of the railways here. Here a case of deviating of the way of a train has come to the fore. The case is of Bachhwada in Begusarai district of Bihar, where a train had to go somewhere else on Thursday and reach somewhere else. Actually, this case is about 15653 Up Amarnath Express running between Guwahati to Jammu Tawi. This train was open from Barauni and was to go to Samastipur.
Amarnath Express was to go to Samastipur after opening from Barauni but the route of the train changed and it reached Vidyapatinagar after walking about three kilometers on Hajipur route. After knowing about this matter, the ground slipped under the feet of the officers of Sonpur Railway Division. The train that had reached Vidyapatinagar was hurriedly brought back to Bachwara. After that it was sent to Samastipur.
Hundreds of passengers could have died if the driver did not pay attention to the train going on another route. In this case, the Railways has suspended two Assistant Station Masters (ASMs) of Bachwara station for negligence. Division Railway Manager (DRM) Neel Mani has termed it as a big negligence.
Taking the matter seriously, DRM has suspended ASM Kundan Kumar and Suraj Kumar of Bachwara station and ordered an inquiry into the matter. The DRM said, “Two ASMs have been suspended in this case. An inquiry has been ordered into the entire matter. Action will also be taken against other personnel found guilty in the investigation report.”
According to the information, Amarnath Express opened from Barauni at 4.45 am. The train was to reach Samastipur. The train was passing through out at Bachwara at 5.15 am. Due to wrong line at Bachwara station, instead of Barauni-Samastipur route, the train started moving on Bachwara-Hajipur rail section. By the time the train drivers could understand something, the train had reached the outer signal of Vidyapatinagar station.
The driver told that he did not get the cognition to pass on this route. Therefore, stopping the train, the driver informed the railway control. Later the train was brought back to Bachwara. After this the train was left for Samastipur at 6:15 am. According to railway sources, due to the early morning, the personnel posted at the station including ASM were in sleep, due to which this has happened.
