Uttarakhand: CMO of four districts changed, Dr. Manoj Upreti will be the new Chief Medical Officer of Dehradun

The Uttarakhand government has changed the Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) of four districts. Principal Superintendent Dr. Manoj Upreti, in-charge of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Coronation Hospital, has been made CMO of Dehradun district.

According to the order issued by the government, Dr. Anoop Dimri was removed from the post of CMO Dehradun and posted in the Directorate General of Health. Dr. Upreti will now be the new CMO of Dehradun. Dr. Shikha Jangpagi, posted as Additional Director in the Directorate, has been made the Chief Medical Superintendent of Coronation Hospital.

CMO Tehri Dr. Suman Arya was posted in the Directorate General of Health. In his place, radiologist Dr. Sanjay Jain posted in Sub District Hospital Premnagar has been made CMO of Tehri. CMO Uttarkashi Dr. DP Joshi has been posted as Pediatrician in Sub District Hospital, Srinagar.

Dr. Keshar Singh Chauhan, posted in Sub-District Hospital, Vikasnagar, has been made CMO Uttarkashi. At the same time, CMO Chamoli Dr. GS Rana was made the Chief Medical Superintendent at District Hospital Chamoli. Dr.KK Agarwal posted in Government Medical College, Srinagar has been posted in his place.
