Uttarakhand / Champawat : Vayurath crossed the inaccessible paths without the help of ropes, the devotees took the blessings of the mother
On the last day of Ashadhi Vayurath Festival of Sui Bishung, Vayurath Yatra of Mother Bhagwati was taken out on Friday in which hundreds of people took the blessings of the mother. All the weapons of Chardyoli were brought to the Aditya Mahadev temple by the Devdangars. After taking a bath with milk and holy water, Devdangars descended and blessed the devotees.
Angavastras were presented to all the Devdangars after the completion of the traditional puja in the temple. After that, the secret pie of Mother Bhagwati was circumambulated here in the courtyard of Aditya Mahadev temple. The chariot of Maa Bhagwati started the Vayurath Yatra with 52 sons and 64 yogis without the help of ropes.
Vayurath was brought from the temple via Galchauda, Pau, Chankande, Dungri to Daulagarh where the Devdangars ate milk and rice cheeks. After that, crossing the inaccessible hill of Ukha Kot via Khaisakande, went out for the circumambulation of twenty villages of Bishung.
The sons ate cheeks of milk and rice at places. Devotees showered Akshat and flowers in the Rath Yatra of Maa Bhagwati from place to place. As soon as Vayurath reached the Bishung area, the whole atmosphere reverberated with the mother’s cheers. Vayurath stopped for a while at Bishung Tak where the Devdangars took a bath.
In the chariot, the people of Sui Bishung gave their shoulders from their designated places. After that the chariot reached the Aditya Mahadev temple of Sui late in the night where joint worship and aarti of Mother Bhagwati and Aditya Mahadev was performed. After performing the aarti, the payola was taken towards its destination, Maa Bhagwati Mandir, Chaubegaon. Devdangars blessed with wishes, happiness, peace and prosperity with the distribution of prasad.
