Uttarakhand : Truck collides with tractor-trolley of devotees going to Gurdwara Darshan, 6 killed, dozens injured, CM expressed grief, announced compensation
A painful accident happened in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand on Sunday morning. A speeding truck hit the tractor-trolley from behind. About six people died in the accident, while many people were injured. The police team reached the spot and admitted the injured to the nearest hospital. According to the information received, at the time of the accident, about 60-70 people of Basgar Gram Sabha of Shaktifarm were going to visit the gurudwara in Uttamnagar in a tractor-trolley, when the speeding truck hit the tractor-trolley from behind at the turn. . The collision was such that the tractor-trolley overturned after the collision.
This painful road accident has happened on NH 74. The highway was blocked after the road accident. There was an outcry of devotees after the accident. Immediately after the road accident, people rushed to help the accident victims. Together with the police, people took the injured to the hospital with the help of an ambulance.
CM expressed grief
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has condoled the loss of many people in the unfortunate road accident of tractor trolley at Sirsa Mor in Sitarganj. The Chief Minister has prayed to God to give place to the departed souls at his feet and to the bereaved family members to bear this immense suffering and to give speedy recovery to the injured. The Chief Minister has directed to arrange ₹ 2 lakh to the next of the dead, ₹ 50000 to the seriously injured, ₹ 25000 to the general injured and free treatment to all the injured from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. He has also ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident.

मुख्यमंत्री राहत कोष से मृतकों के परिजनों को ₹2 लाख, गंभीर रूप से घायलों को ₹50000, सामान्य रूप से घायलों को ₹25000 तथा सभी घायलों के मुफ्त इलाज की घोषणा करता हूं। इस घटना की मजिस्ट्रियल जांच के आदेश भी दे दिए गए हैं।
