Petrol-diesel prices stable
There was no change in the prices of petrol and diesel today. Earlier, their prices had increased on Sunday.
According to the website of leading oil marketing company Indian Oil Corporation, in the national capital Delhi today, the price of petrol remained stable at Rs 92.58 and the price of diesel at Rs 83.22 per liter. Presently, petrol and diesel prices are at historic highs. Oil marketing companies have increased prices for nine days since May 04, while prices have remained stable for five days. During this time, petrol in Delhi has become expensive by Rs 2.18 and diesel by 2.49 rupees.
Petrol price remained flat at Rs 98.88 in Mumbai, Rs 94.31 in Chennai and Rs 92.67 per liter in Kolkata today.
Diesel price also remained unchanged at Rs 90.40 in Mumbai, Rs 88.07 in Chennai and Rs 86.06 per liter in Kolkata.
The prices of petrol and diesel are reviewed daily and based on this, new prices are applied every day from six o’clock in the morning.
