A surprising case has come to light on Wednesday. Here two people set the owner’s Mercedes car on fire for non-payment of dues. The matter became headlines as soon as it was captured on CCTV. Taking action in the case, the police have taken one of the accused into custody. During interrogation, the accused has told that the payment of more than 2.5 lakhs is due. It was not done even after asking several times. Every time he was pushed off on some pretext or the other. In such a situation, getting angry, set his car on fire. The matter is of Sadarpur Colony of Sector-39 police station area. Ayush Chauhan, a resident of here, had done the work of tiles in his house. According to DCP Harishchandra, an outstanding amount of Rs 2,68,000 remained to Ranvir Mason, who worked on the tiles. It is alleged that Ayush walked the mason Ranveer for several days and did not give money. Furious over non-receipt of the dues, the masons set Ayush’s Mercedes car parked outside the house on fire by pouring petrol on Sunday (September 11) morning. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed nearby. The accused has been taken into custody by the police.

CCTV happened viral accused arrested

Actually, the video of the whole matter was captured in the CCTV installed outside the house. In a video viral on social media, a youth purportedly came on a motorcycle and stopped near a white Mercedes car. The petrol brought in the bottle was poured on the car. After that it was set on fire. The accused youth was wearing a helmet throughout the incident.

On the other hand, the car became a ball of fire as soon as the accused poured petrol in the car and set it on fire. The Mercedes car lit up in smoke. At the same time, there was panic among the passers-by passing through the spot. Police reached the spot immediately on information. With the help of CCTV, the police identified the accused youth and took him into custody.

In section 435 action against the accused

An FIR has been registered against the accused under Section 435 of the Indian Penal Code. Further investigation is being done. Police is also investigating whether the accused has any criminal record or not.
