Uttarakhand : Not celebrating victory in Haridwar, but on the call of Mahendra Bhatt, BJP will pay tribute to late Ankita tomorrow in the entire state – Manveer Chauhan
BJP will pay tribute to the late Ankita across the state on Friday. According to state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan, on the call of state president Mahendra Bhatt, tribute programs will be organized in 252 mandals of the state. Apart from this, candle march will be taken out in urban areas. He appealed to the winning candidates not to celebrate in any way in the Haridwar civic polls. Bhatt said that there is a wave of mourning in the state due to the murder of daughter Ankita and in such a situation such programs should be avoided.
Bhatt said that the government is keeping a close watch in the Ankita case and the investigating agency is engaged in a hurry. Every effort will be made to get strict punishment for the killers of Ankita. He said that the CM has requested the court to run the matter in the fast track court. The government completely stands with Ankita’s family in their hour of grief.
