Chief Secretary SS Sandhu reached Hemkund Sahib to take stock of the construction works

Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. On Tuesday, Sandhu took stock of the travel arrangements at Hemkund Sahib and Badrinath Dham as well as inspected the reconstruction works conducted under the master plan. In Hemkund Sahib, along with inspecting the newly built helipad, track railing, accessible toilets and other construction works for emergency rescue works, the Chief Secretary reached Hemkund Sahib Gurdwara and paid obeisance at the Guru Darwar.

After this, the Chief Secretary reached Badrinath by helicopter and took stock of the reconstruction works of the first phase conducted under the master plan and instructed to expedite the construction works. District Magistrate Himanshu Khurana apprised the Chief Secretary about the progress of construction works in Badrinath. During this, the Chief Secretary inspected the road from Badrinath to Musa Pani Tak under the Border Development Plan, besides visiting Lord Badrinath.

During the inspection, Superintending Engineer Rajesh Sharma, SDM Kumkum Joshi, Gawar Construction Ltd. Project director PL Soni, EO Sunil Purohit, along with officials of the construction and executive organizations were present.
