In the International Mixed Martial Arts Championship held in Dubai, Lal Digambar Rawat of Uttarakhand has won the championship title. He defeated his opponent Aqib Ali in the light weight category and won the title. Due to this achievement of Digambar Rawat, there is an atmosphere of celebration in his home district. Digambar Rawat is 23 years old. His family is originally from Aali village of Adibadri tehsil.

After which the condition of the house kept deteriorating. The financial condition of the family was not good. After some time, Digambar came to Dehradun with his sister and started preparing for mixed martial arts. The great result of his hard work was that he has won the title of International Championship. Digambar gave the credit of his success to his sisters and coach Angad. He said that he will continue to work hard in the future as well.
