Maharashtra: Foot over bridge collapses at Ballarshah railway station in Chandrapur, 13 injured

A portion of the footover bridge at Ballarshah railway station in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra has collapsed in which some people have been injured. Officials have confirmed this news from BBC Marathi.
An RPF officer on duty at Ballarshah railway station told the BBC over phone that 13 passengers fell on the tracks below the footover bridge, in which six people were injured. He told that the condition of three passengers among the injured is serious.

The RPF official said that the six injured have been sent to Chandrapur Steel Hospital for treatment. Video footage of this incident which took place at Ballarshah railway station is being shared on social media.
