Name of Narendra Modi Stadium entered in Guinness Book

The name of Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad has been entered in the Guinness Book of Records. According to the BCCI, on May 29, 2022, the final match of IPL was seen by 1,01,566 people in the stadium. This is the largest number of spectators present in any T20 match.

In a tweet, BCCI informed, “India creates Guinness World Record, it is a proud moment for everyone.” BCCI General Secretary Jai Shah has also given information about this by tweeting.

The Gujarat Cricket Association’s Motera Stadium was remodeled and reopened in February 2021. Now the name of this stadium is Narendra Modi Stadium. The final match of the 15th IPL was played in this stadium. Built in 1982, the capacity of this stadium was earlier 49,000 spectators.

Since 2021, ten international matches have also taken place in this stadium, including two Test matches played against England. In 2023, ODI Cricket World Cup will be played in India. Many matches of the World Cup will be held in this stadium.
