IND vs BAN, 3rd ODI: Kuldeep Yadav included in the Indian team for the third ODI against Bangladesh; BCCI will take a decision on Rohit Sharma later
Spinner Kuldeep Yadav has been included in Team India for the last match of the 3-match ODI series against Bangladesh. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced this on 9 December 2022.
Kuldeep Yadav can play international matches after 11 October 2022. Kuldeep played his last international match against South Africa in Delhi. Kuldeep took 4 wickets in that ODI match. Kuldeep can play an international match after 4 months abroad. Kuldeep played an ODI against Zimbabwe on 22 August 2022 in Harare. Kuldeep Yadav took 2 wickets in that match.
The third and last ODI of the series is to be played on 10 December 2022 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma suffered a thumb injury in the second over while fielding in the second ODI.
Decision Will Be Taken Later On Rohit Sharma Playing In Test Series
He was examined by the BCCI medical team and was scanned at a local hospital in Dhaka. Rohit Sharma has now left for Mumbai for specialist consultation. Rohit Sharma will not be able to play in the last ODI against Bangladesh. A decision on his availability for the upcoming Test series will be taken later. Test series (India vs Bangladesh, Test Series) is to be played from 14 to 26 December.

In a statement issued by BCCI secretary Jay Shah, it has been said that fast bowler Kuldeep Sen had complained of back stiffness after the first ODI. The medical team of BCCI examined him. Kuldeep Sen was then advised rest from the second ODI. Investigation revealed that Kuldeep Sen had a stress injury.
Kuldeep Sen has been ruled out of the ODI series against Bangladesh. During the second ODI, Kuldeep’s teammate Deepak Chahar suffered a left hamstring strain. Deepak Chahar is also out of the series. Both Kuldeep Sen and Deepak Chahar will now report to the National Cricket Academy for further management of their injuries.
