UGC issued new rules, now graduation degree will be available in 4 years

UGC i.e. University Grants Commission has announced the new outline of undergraduate (BA, B.Sc, B.Com) programs. According to this, now any graduate degree will be given only after completing four years. The UGC has revised this decision keeping in mind the recommendations of the New Education Policy (NEP). Along with this, a new syllabus and credit framework has been prepared for graduate courses. Like which the graduate course will be of four years, but the candidates will be able to go from one discipline to another.
That is, he can leave his graduation course in the middle. In which they will get the certificate course or diploma certificate. According to the new education policy, the graduation course will be of four years i.e. 8 semesters. At the same time, after completion of three years, students can leave the UG course midway. If they want to complete their degree program later, they will also get this option.
The students who want to complete the three year course will be awarded the bachelor’s degree in the major discipline by the UGC after completion of three years. If this student completes the four-year course, then the UGC will give him an Honors degree in the concerned subject. In the fourth i.e. final year, students who have secured more than 75% marks in more than six semesters will also get a chance to join undergraduate research course in the concerned subject. These students will get a chance to work on a research project or under research of a university research assistant or college teacher. Also, research option is included in all streams.
