CELEBRATIONS OF WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY IN BSF FTR HQ GUJARAT

5th June is celebrated as the World environment day across the globe. BSF Gujarat Frontier alongwith all field formations organized Tree Plantation to celebrate world environment day.

The theme for the World Environment Day 2020 is ‘BioDiversity’. To mark the occasion, A Tree Plantation Programme was organized in the campus of FTR HQ Gujarat Gandhinagar in which SH G S Malik, IPS, IG, BSF FTR HQ Gujarat and SMT. Savita Malik, President of BWWA (FTR HQ Gujarat) with the other Officers alongwith lady wives planted trees in the campus maintaining social distancing and other Covid 19 precautions.

BSF has also arranged food and water for the birds and animals in the campuses and border area both. This will go a long way in protection of flora andfona.
