Uttarakhand / Dehradun : Corona curfew in Dehradun from today 7 pm

Corona curfew will remain in Dehradun from 7 pm on 26 April to 5 am on 3 May in view of the continuous increase in the cases of corona virus. District Magistrate of Dehradun Ashish Kumar Srivastava has said that all the shops are open on Monday, people can buy the same as needed.

Corona curfew will remain in Dehradun from 7 pm on 26 April to 5 am on 3 May in the wake of the continuous increase in cases of corona virus. During the period, the Municipal Corporation of the district, Rishikesh, Dehradun and Cantonment Council, Gadhi Cantt and Clement Town, will have a full corona curfew.

According to the order, the movement of private vehicles will be completely restricted during this period. During this period, shops for fruits, vegetables, dairy and ration will be opened till four o’clock in the evening. However, petrol pumps and gas supplies and chemist shops will be open full time.

Earlier in the day, the Uttarakhand government had authorized the district magistrates to take curfew or other tough measures to curb COVID-19 in view of the rising outbreak. By the way, there is already a night curfew in Dehradun from seven in the evening to five in the morning.
