Uttar Pradesh / Ghazipur : Soldier strangles wife and children to suicide

In Dildarnagar area of Ghazipur district in Uttar Pradesh, due to dawn Gruhclash, the soldier strangled his wife and seven children and committed suicide by jumping in front of the train. The couple died in this incident, while the condition of three children remains serious.
According to information received from police sources, Munshi Yadav (42) resident of Usiya village in the area was posted in Prayagraj. He was transferred to Fatehpur in January. He came home from there on January 5 and took leave on medical leave after pretending to have an illness in the police line. He slept on the terrace at night with his family.

On Saturday morning, wife Reena Devi (38) got upset over something. The matter increased so much that the enraged soldier attacked his wife’s head and neck with a sharp weapon. Hearing the sound of screaming, daughters Neha (16), Ritu (13), Neetu (10) and Varsha (8) lost sleep. Due to their noise, the soldier attacked with a sharp weapon and bled. After this, on the sleeping daughter Sudha (6), Krishna (2) and Shyam (7) were also seriously attacked and seriously injured.

Hearing the screaming of the children, the wife of the elder brother of the accused reached the spot. Seeing all the bloodshed, she fell unconscious. After hearing the voice, the villagers ran towards the scene of the incident and informed the police about the incident. On receiving information, the police team reached the spot and sent the injured to the district hospital for treatment where Reena Devi died during treatment. Sudha, Krishna and Shyam are in critical condition.

On the other hand, by committing the crime, accused soldier Munshi Yadav committed suicide by jumping in front of the train in front of Kakarhi Dera. At present, the police have sent both the bodies for postmortem. Police Officer Kamlesh Pal said that the reason of the incident is the first sight of family feud. As such, the matter is being investigated.
