Himachal Pradesh : All India Kisan Sabha will celebrate Black Day on 26th May – Dr. Tanwar

Himachal Kisan Sabha along with other organizations in the state will be celebrated as Black Day on the call of United Kisan Morcha. On May 26, 6 months of the farmer movement are being completed and the Modi government at the center is also completing 7 years. In a joint statement issued on Tuesday by State Kisan Sabha State President Dr. Kuldeep Tanwar, General Secretary Dr. Onkar Shad and Secretary-General Satyavan Pundir, the Kisan Andolan and United Kisan Morcha have decided to make this day in accordance with the COVID Protocol in their workplace, village, area Black flag, black bandage and black badge will be opposed against the anti-farmer and anti-people policies of the central government. Videos and photos of this protest will be sent to social media and print media.

Dr. Tanwar said that during these 7 years of the government, inflation of various sections of the society, unemployment and job loss were taken away, anti-farmer black agricultural laws were introduced and farmers were not given minimum cost price for their crops. Waste of land, loss of land, promotion of privatization by selling government idars, creating an environment of insecurity in society, especially among Dalits and minorities, snatching away the legal rights and rights of workers, mismanagement of Kovid epidemic, etc. The government was a complete failure at all these levels.

It is said that in this way, the name of this government will be recorded in black letters in history to ignore the mismanagement of the government and the government implementing the policies that have been plaguing the people.

Dr. Shad said that Himachal Kisan Sabha should celebrate this black day of May 26 as a complete opposition from all units at the level of their local and primary units. Along with the central issues as well as local issues of the state such as heavy neglect of health services, non-payment of compensation to farmers and gardeners from hailstorms, negligence in COVID infection, failure in MNREGA and job creation, on fruits, grains and vegetables. Neither setting up any new industries nor giving minimum cost price etc. should also be included.
