Himachal Pradesh : Dhar Chamukha, Daroh and Simhana drinking water scheme will be strengthened from 4.90 crores: Virendra Kanwar

Una : Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Minister Virendra Kanwar has said that an amount of Rs 14.90 crore has been approved through the Asian Development Bank for the strengthening of Dhar Chamukha, Daroh and Chamiyadi Simhana Drinking Water Scheme. happened. Kanwar said that the Water Power Department has also given technical approval to start the work of strengthening the drinking water scheme and now the process of tendering will start soon.

Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virendra Kanwar said that three water treatment plants will be set up with an approved amount of Rs 14.90 crore under the project. In addition, the old pipeline will be replaced and pumping machinery will also be installed. He said that under the scheme new tanks would be constructed in the villages, which would eliminate the problem of drinking water in the entire Dhar region.

Virendra Kanwar said that work is also going on in other schemes in the Kutlehar Vis region for the supply of water and constant efforts are being made to overcome the problem of water. He said that the Water Power Department has almost completed the third phase of strengthening of the Ramgarh Dhar Drinking Water Scheme. The construction of the drinking water scheme is nearing completion and this scheme has improved the drinking water supply situation in Gram Panchayat Salangadi, Bohru, Sakoun, Gharwasra, Talai, Handola and Jagatkhana. It is expected that by the month of June, the third phase of this scheme will be completed, the total cost of which is Rs 13.10 crore.

Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virendra Kanwar said that as the population increases, the capacity of the old drinking water scheme in Kutlahar assembly constituency needs to be increased, in view of which efforts are being made. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has provided more than one hundred crore rupees for the water schemes in Kutlaihar Vis area, which is bringing positive change.
