Bihar : Nitish instructed to maintain a strong system of treatment in AES affected districts as per protocol

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar directed the authorities to maintain a strong system of treatment in the districts affected by Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) and pay special attention to make people aware so that children can be protected from the disease and ill. In case of occurrence, timely treatment can be done.

Kumar held a high-level review meeting on AES, Japanese Encephalitis (JE), Heatweb through video conferencing at an Anne Marg conference. During this, he asked the officials to maintain a strong system for treatment in the districts affected by AES as per the protocol. He said that special attention should be paid to making people aware. Tell their families that no child will go to bed hungry at night. If you see any symptoms of this disease, go to the hospital as soon as possible so that they can be treated in time.
The Chief Minister said that last year A.E.S. In five blocks of Muzaffarpur affected by AES, the works were done on the basis of Socio Economic Survey. Implement in all the affected districts. All eligible beneficiaries in these affected areas should get their accommodation made under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana or Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana so that their children can be protected from this disease.
