Himachal Pradesh / Solan : Demand for creation of separate traffic wing in BBN
The Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh Industries Association demanded a separate traffic wing at BBN from Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh Sanjay Kundu. In the meeting held at Baddi SP office told that in view of the increasing number of vehicles in BBN and to make the traffic system more smooth, this wing needs to be separated. Chairman of the Sanjay Khurana, Senior Vice President Rajeev Aggarwal, Dr. Rajesh Gupta on behalf of HDMA and many representatives of the pharma industry were present.
Dr. Rajesh Gupta said that the Director General of Police has praised the BBN Industry Association for supporting the efforts being made by the Himachal government in relation to Covid-19. They were made aware that BBN is the largest pharma hub of the country, medicines and vaccines are also being manufactured here to deal with the corona epidemic. The IG was thanked for providing protection to the manufacturers of all these life-saving drugs.
The BBNIA expressed gratitude for opening another police station and outpost to further improve law and order in the BBN, while separately deploying additional police forces for these centers and controlling the traffic increasing day by day in the BBN. The demand to open a traffic wing was also reiterated.
The Director General of Police thanked the Chairman of BBNIA and HDMA for their full support to the Government in the hour of crisis and encouraged them by providing mementos for their efforts.
