On May 28, 1999, during the Kargil War, four brave air warrior squadron leaders of “The Mighty Armor”, Rajiv Pundir, Flight Lieutenant S.K. Muhilan, Sergeant PVNR Prasad and Sergeant RK Sahu performed an operation under the Indian Air Force’s “Operation White Sea” and made the supreme sacrifice for the motherland by sacrificing their lives in the air struggle against Pakistani intruders at Tololing in the Kargil Drass region. .
